Why I wish I could override the source server for Get Album Artwork in iTunes.*
iTunes album artwork on the left, my scan of the original CD insert on the right. And then there’s the times when the iTunes selection is flat-out wrong. iTunes does get it right most of the time, but being able to work around the poor, wrong, or missing ones would be great.
*Yes, I could paste in the artwork, but I don’t want to embed duplicate artwork into each mp3 file and iTunes’ Get Album Artwork is the only way to get a single image into its database to use for an entire album.

The iPod Touch/iPhone now-playing UI.
Even cropped down to the upper-half and blown up on a projection screen, it’s still nearly illegible.
It’s such a waste of the screen space. And that same “You don’t need to know the name of the song — LOOK! PRETTY PICTURE! OR MAYBE A GENERIC MUSIC NOTE!” Squintyvision™ aesthetic has come over to the new Nanos.
Maybe I should be glad that Apple discontinued the 160 GB Classic before they could fuck up its display further.
